Hello! Lots of photos over the past three months! With the arrival of spring, Jane has been able to partake in one of her favorite hobbies, which she calls “outside.” This can be anything from going for walks around the neighborhood to being pushed on her little bike to visiting playgrounds and trails.

Jane has started to express herself by stringing together a couple of words: such as “Jane’s shoes” and “Mommy’s shoes.” She likes to suggest places for people to sit. Being vaccinated has also allowed us to start visiting more places, like breakfast diners, play dates with friends and our first trip to the zoo.

Thank you for your patience! Here are photos for Winter 2021. Jane is growing so fast. She loves books, vacuuming, being outside, and any kind of strange or new mechanisms that she can get her hands on. Of her books, she especially like making all of the sounds in Mr. Brown Can Moo, Can You? and pointing at all of the pictures. In particular, she likes ball, umbrella, elephant, dog, cat, and duck. She also likes laughing and being a general goofball.

Happy summer! These months Jane had her first trip to the water and play dates with old and new friends. Some new favorite activities include playing pass the crayon, running around the neighborhood, and seeing how many rings she can put on her arms. She also enjoys putting the crayons and herself into various storage containers.

June and July 2020

Birthday edition! Hi everyone, Jane has turned 1 year old and she is full on romping, roaring, and exploring the world around her. New summer adventures include running around in the grass, tentatively trying the kiddie pool, and climbing on her slide. Her favorite toy is the dog creature that sings catchy songs when she pushes the buttons on its paws. A new accomplishment is orienting the cups so that she can hold three at once.

Happy May everyone! Another big milestone this month that has quickly become her favorite activity. Yoga! In addition to her new trick, Jane has enjoyed spending some time outdoors in the yard, hide and seek, and following around the ‘ga.’ (cat).

Happy April! Jane is 9 months! She loves grabbing different textures, romping around, pillow rides, and managing mischief. Big milestones this month are lots of finger foods, climbing the stairs, and big stroller.

Our silver lining is that we got to spend some extra time with her this month. Good luck out there everyone. Stay safe and healthy.

Hi everyone! Not sure what happened to February, but here’s March!

Jane turned 7 and then 8 months, so fast. She is moving and grooving and therefore some pictures are a bit blurry, but we do what we can. Over these past few months, she’s had music day at daycare and a play date with her friend Hanna and others. Her favorite activities are zebra run and when Mommy throws her arms up and goes Aboo. She is very serious about her music toy and always having a toy in each hand.

Six months! Lots of new experiences this month, including Christmas at Grandma’s and our first day at the park on an unusually warm Saturday. Her new favorite activities are eating All the breakfast, climbing on everything, and chasing down busy bee mach 2.

Happy Holidays! Lots of updates for this month.

Early on, Jane enjoyed practicing her downward dog yoga pose. Her main mechanism for traveling to her desired position on the mat (such as to gain access to a toy out of teach) was via turning in a slowly expanding circle. Then, she realized that this was a bit inefficient and over the past couple of days has started moving in a straight line.

Jane has expanded her diet to include oatmeal, peas, carrots, and other fine foods. She loves trying to grab the spoon and gets mildly upset when the spoon is taken away.

Other activities this month included visiting Aunt Liz’s for Thanksgiving (where Jane met Leche the cat), Christmas tree adventure, and Baby Party 2019.
